About Us

Of course we have one of those cliché inspirational stories. I’ll spare you the details, but in a nutshell it goes something like this. Boy meets bike. Boy takes bike on open road. Boy gets inspired to create a business serving customers with who he has a special affinity – those who share a love for a bike and for a certain lifestyle and for the planet.   That business is Earth Wind and Rider™. That’s my story and I’m sticking with it.

I am always interested when we receive emails from people asking us, “Where are your products made?” “Do you manufacture in China?”  Sometimes they just say, “Rock on!” or “Love your Stuff.”  Often, the emails that we receive reflect a consumer with a desire to purchase that quality piece they have been searching for but have not yet found - until now.  There are always some emails from a conscientious few that question how we are really trying to improve the environment. To them, I say, “Glad to meet you!” There is power in numbers and we urge you to proceed to For the Planet .

In fact, we have worked hard to create a website that has easy-to-find answers to all of your questions – see Ask the Wool Guy - and even easier ways to contact us if you cannot. 

The truth is, we are just a bunch of ordinary people trying to make it just like the rest. The difference is that we get to ride our bikes a little bit more.  We have families to support and bills to pay and we are living the adventure of entrepreneurship, every single day. And to be clear, we are not passionate about what we do.  We are passionate because of what we do, which is usually talking to you on the phone, through email or some other method to answer your questions or allay your concerns.  While we design and produce one of the most cherished jerseys you will add to your closet.
